IDfactory is networking with researchers and industries around the globe to experiment with new strategies.

The european centre for creative economy (ecce) stems from RUHR.2010. The cultural and creative economy combines eleven creative and artistic industries: art, music, literature, film, the media, design, architecture and games development. Hessen Design e.V. is a competence centre that makes outstanding design achievements in their cultural, social and economic importance visible. As the head of design for the federal state of Hessen, the association has been promoting the networking of all creative disciplines for over 10 years, offering practical advice and a diverse educational programme. Kulturanovas mission is to develop contents of independent culture in order to encourage positive social change and improve the position of creative people in Novi Sad and the region by promoting peaceful co-existance, minorities’ and human rights, including vulnerable groups in its projects and advocating that creativity is a tool for economic development and entrepreneurship. Kulturanovas projects were supported i.a. by the Creative Europe programme of the European Commission and the Ministry of culture of the Republic of Serbia. Kulturanova realized 6 major projects and organized dozen of small artistic interventions, meet-ups engaging more than 400 people as direct beneficiaries and about 3000 as indirect beneficiaries.

Kultuurikatel is a combination of a physical facility and a platform for networks and knowledge. The physical point of Kultuurikatel is a 10,000 m2 space of a former power and heating plant. It now serves as a working place for different studios, black boxes, galleries, rooms with future development capabilities and public attractions like restaurants, shops and tourist centers. In addition, it can be used for smaller workshops, seminars or large performing art shows and day-to-day festivals.

Revista Atelierul (Atelierul Magazine) has been establishing since 2010 an inter-cultural dialogue between the creators and the public, a well-defined mix of established and beginner product designers and creators, becoming an active platform for networking and inspiration. Atelierul Magazine has an international editorial team, over 6,5 million readers and is curating creative exhibitions. Atelierul Magazine is a project of the NGO Atelierul de Creaţie, a Romanian non-profit organization that has been supporting for more than seven years the alternative approaches to presenting design and creative works in new spaces of culture interest.

Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP) was founded in 1967 and gained official recognition in 1971. In 1996, the School of Arts (SA) was created, in Porto. Promising places for culture like the Zsolnay Cultural Quarter, the Kodály Centre, as well as historic places of cultural heritage and the house of art and literature in Pécs have been installed and developed further. The aim is to strengthen Pécs as a cultural destination in Europe.
