Jana Kerima Stolzer

After studying Photography at the Folkwang University of the Arts and Fine Arts at the University of Fine Arts Münster, she worked as curatorial assistant for Urbane Künste Ruhr and for the Skulpturenmuseum Glaskasten Marl.
Since 2016 she realizes projects as an artist together with Lex Rütten. The duo creates performances and installations at the interface of exhibition and theatre space, in which they deal with the technological living environment and the accompanying fantasies. Their works have been shown at Kunsthalle Düsseldorf, Haus am Lützowplatz Berlin, Museum Folkwang Essen, Dortmunder U, Pact Zollverein Essen, Favoriten Festival Dortmund and Cabin Crew Night of the Ruhrtriennale. In 2020 the duo received the DEW21 Förderpreis. Currently, the two are Fellows at the Academy for Theater and Digitality in Dortmund.
