Dr Marcin Poprawski works in the Institute of Cultural Studies and ROK Culture Observatory at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan (PL); since 2006 a lecturer at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt Oder (D); PhD in humanities, musicologist, member of cultural management and cultural policy research teams and international networks, mastermind of professional trainings and research tools; expert of the Association of Polish Cities, member of the Urban Cultural Policies council of Polish National Center for Culture. Since 2013, twice elected Vice-president of ENCATC network. His research, publications, teaching and consultancy are focused on: organizational cultures in cultural & creative sector; cultural policies and cultural entrepreneurship; festivals impacting local communities; aesthetics in management; audience development; intergenerational transmission of cultural values; cultural branding and music aesthetics; local cultural ecosystems & culture-led city development.
